Working with wood has been a joy since I was a child, but became serious work in my twenties as I was unable to make a living as a musician. I have developed a fondness for the Arts & Crafts style. The quarter sawn white oak of that style is a favorite. Over the years I have slowly crafted a collection of custom hand made white oak furniture using the Stickley techniques of mortise and tenon joints. My shop is conveniently attached to my home.
